Who We Are
Since 1987, we have specialized in all types of institutional projects, commercial, and industrial facilities.
We are based in Abbotsford, B.C., but work in the Fraser Valley as well as Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, New West, Delta, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Squamish etc. We are on-site in Langley for 2 large schools and a new indoor soccer field, as well as several other Institutional and Industrial projects in Surrey, Burnaby, Delta, New West, Langley, and Chilliwack. We also have an upcoming large industrial project in Squamish starting this fall.
We are looking for an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of a workplace, ensuring the office runs efficiently, safely, and professionally.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Managing office supplies, equipment, facilities, and vendors
- Coordinating schedules, meetings, travel, and workplace events
- Developing administrative procedures and maintaining records
- Supporting onboarding and other HR-related administration
- Handling budgets, invoices, expenses, and purchasing
- Supervising reception or administrative staff
- Acting as the main contact for employees, visitors, and service providers
- Supporting workplace health, safety, security, and regulatory compliance
In short, the office manager connects people, processes, and resources so employees can work effectively. The role differs from an administrative assistant because it usually includes broader operational ownership, decision-making, and sometimes staff supervision.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of office administration experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in construction or electrical contracting preferred.
- Experience with accounting and HR administration.
