We are looking for skilled Construction Workers - to work on buildings, roads, and other construction projects and help bring the plans of architects and engineers to life as complete, solid structures. Experience with equipment on relevant projects is essential. The incumbents must also be able and willing to adapt to seasons’ duties and changing weather conditions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform general construction tasks including excavation, interior demolition, pipe laying, demolition, metal framing, tile setting, drywall, mudding, taping, carpentry and site preparation.
  • Operate and maintain power tools and light machinery; forklift experience is an asset.
  • Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
  • Clean and maintain construction sites, removing debris and discarded materials.
  • Work with site supervisors and contractors to execute construction plans safely and efficiently.
  • Adapt to seasonal duties and variable weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Practical skills in carpentry, pipe laying, rigging, and general labour.
  • Experience with metal framing, drywall, mudding, taping, tile setting, flashing, and siding is considered a strong asset.
  • Physical endurance, hand-tool proficiency, and safe work practices.
  • Excellent eye-hand coordination, balance, and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Proven track record of teamwork, safety compliance, and following instructions with attention to detail.
